Sound Familiar?
An unknown discoloration on your drywall. An area that has water stains from a leak or from condensation . An AC Supply vent that has dust or discoloration on it or around it. A cabinet or area in your bathroom that appears swollen or unusually damaged. You've Googled it, you've gotten mixed opinions from contractors, and you still don't have a definitive answer.
A full mold assessment feels like too much. Doing nothing feels wrong. You just want someone to tell you what it actually is — without committing to a major project.
The Service
Mold Identification Sampling is a limited-purpose laboratory sampling service. You identify the area of concern. Our certified technician collects up to 3 samples and sends them to an accredited third-party laboratory.
It answers one question: Is what I'm seeing actually mold?
Nothing more. Nothing less.

The Process
Five straightforward steps. No surprises. No guesswork.
Fill out the form below. Tell us your county and briefly describe what you're seeing or where your concern is.
We confirm your appointment day based on your county. Payment is collected upfront to secure your slot.
Our certified technician arrives within the scheduled window. You point out the areas of concern — we handle the rest. Samples will be collected, every area photographed. Appointment window: 90 minutes.
All samples are sent to a third-party accredited laboratory for species identification and analysis.
You will receive a full lab report and a photo report. With this, you'll know exactly what was found, in what area, and what it means.
Is This Right for Me?
scenario 1
"I found a dark spot and I'm not sure if it's mold. My contractor says it's just old caulk — but something doesn't feel right."
scenario 2
"There's a dark stain on my bathroom ceiling that keeps coming back no matter how many times I clean it. I want to know if it's actually mold before I do anything else."
scenario 3
"I noticed something growing along the baseboard in my bedroom. It looks like mold but I'm not 100% sure. I just want a confirmed answer."
scenario 4
"My AC has been running nonstop and I started noticing a dark buildup around one of the vents. I want to know if what I'm seeing is mold."
scenario 5
"I want a real answer — not a guess. But I'm not ready to commit to a full mold assessment without knowing what I'm dealing with first."

Before You Book
Yes — an authorized adult (18+) must be present for the duration of the appointment. You'll confirm the specific areas of concern you identified during booking, and our technician will collect the samples from those locations. We do not select sample locations independently. You identify the area; we collect the sample.
You'll receive your Short Report with the lab data, photos, and notes — whether the results come back positive or negative. The report does not interpret the results; under Florida law, that's the role of a Mold Assessment. If you'd like to discuss your results or figure out what to do next, you can book a free 30-minute Discovery Call to talk through your options with our team.
No. Mold Identification Sampling is a self-pay service and is not designed for insurance claims. The Short Report is a factual record of samples and lab results, not the documentation an insurance carrier requires for a mold-related claim — that requires a full Mold Assessment from a Florida-licensed Mold Assessor.
If you're considering an insurance claim, book a free Discovery Call, and we can help you understand which service fits your situation.
That's a Mold Assessment. Mold Identification Sampling is for specific areas of concern you've already identified. If you want a comprehensive evaluation of the property, including areas where you suspect a problem but aren't sure, you can call us and schedule a full Mold Assessment.
A full Mold Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation: building inspection, review of building history, floor plan, findings and recommendations, and a written remediation scope of work where needed.
Mold Identification Sampling answers one narrow question: Is the substance you identified mold? There's no inspection, no investigation, no recommendation. You point to a specific area; we sample it; the lab tells us what's there.
If you know where the problem is and want a quick answer, Identification Sampling is the right choice. If you don't know where the problem is, or you need documentation for a remediation scope or an insurance claim, you need a Mold Assessment.
The base service includes up to 3 samples from your designated areas of concern, in the following types:
Two add-ons are available on request:
For each area you identify, the sample type follows from the area itself: a visible stain calls for a surface sample, an air-quality complaint calls for an air sample.
